Cathy and I are feeling a huge learning curve today. I am up for the challenge. Learning is hard work. As a teacher, it is a good reminder of what our children go through each day. Not only in acedemics, but in navigating in the world with out experience. The good thing is I was able to get back into PBworks and created a blog. Hurray for me.

  1. Great! I'm glad you were able to get this far. I look forward to reading more as you find your way.

What you wrote is so true. As a language teacher I had forgotten the challenge my students face everyday until a few years back when I started learning German.

The fact that you have gotten this far is great! The more you login and wander around these tools, the easier they will get for you. Keep plugging away. You're doing great!

  2. Way to go Cathy! I think I need to rewrite my blog and add a little more information. Good luck with this new technology! Lori

  3. Great job, Maren! I agree with you about the high learning curve. One thing I learned is that I should not procrastinate when I know that I am going to need help. Sometimes we wonder why our students don't ask for help when they don't understand. It's difficult and very humbling to ask for help even from a wonderful colleague like Gina. But, we are doing it!

  4. I agree that this new learning challenge is a great reminder of how our little ones must feel when we teach them something new. I have experienced many old feeling from childhood as I struggle with this new technology. It reminds me that I have to be patient with my students as they learn new things.
